Video on INFormed Consent

As a project assistant for NYU Global TIES for Children, I developed several videos synthesizing literature and sharing novel approaches to research on early childhood education in emergencies. The motion-graphic video below was developed based a blog on using muppets to demystify the informed consent process.

Highlighting Home in Guatemala

While I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala, I created a video defining the concept of 'home' based on my experience with my students and host family. The video was selected as a finalist for the 2018 Peace Corps Week Video Challenge

Youth Leadership Project highlights

For many of the projects and events I've worked on, videos have offered a way to capture memories and further engage participants. I created the videos below to document highlights and lessons learned from the girls empowerment camp and leadership certification course I organized in partnership with the municipality of Aguacatán, Guatemala.

While studying abroad in Pune, India, I filmed and edited a documentary, learning Final Cut Pro in the process. The documentary focuses on the role of theatre in education in Pune, India.
